How do I measure for the door?
The door size is measured from the outside to outside of the frame for both height and width. The recommended rough opening should be a minimum of 1/2'' to 1" wider and taller than the frame dimensions.
What is the lead time for a custom iron door?
Custom orders typically take approximately 30-45 days to produce to ensure every detail meets our quality standards.
Do these iron doors rust easily?
No. We use pure zinc galvanizing before applying catalytic primer, making our doors highly rust-resistant. We provide a 5-year warranty on the finish and a 20-year warranty on the structure.
Do the doors provide a proper seal?
Yes, there is weather stripping around the entire door frame and operable window panels, along with a sweep installed on the bottom of the door to ensure a complete seal.
What kind of glass is used?
Our doors come standard with dual-pane tempered glass. Hurricane impact glass is also available upon request to maximize impact resistance and energy efficiency.
How much do these doors typically weigh?
Single doors weigh between 360 to 480 pounds, while double doors range from approximately 600 to 900 pounds depending on the design and size.
