The inflatable dock shelter is growing in popularity as more comprehensive control of vehicles and equipment becomes available.
The use of inflatable dock seals works very simply; the vehicle arrives at the dock usually with an external traffic light showing green, when the warehouse operative is alerted to the presence of the vehicle.
Once the fan is energised the cushions fill with high volume, low pressure air and maintain steady contact on the sides and roof of the vehicle providing a good tight seal, reducing the ingress of the elements and keeping in expensively generated warm or cooled air.
Although inflatable seals are made to standard dimensions, special sizes can be made to fit existing buildings and special applications.
The outer side (upper, left, right) of the inflatable door seal is provided with an 800 mm wide polyurethane foam door panel on three sides, and the inner side is provided with a top sealing column and two side sealing columns. The material is a synthetic fabric covered with chloroprene rubber. The whole working state is to tightly wrap the truck compartment to achieve the sealing effect.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does an inflatable dock seal work?
When a truck parks at the dock, a blower fan is activated. The cushions inflate with high-volume air to create a tight seal against the sides and roof of the vehicle.
How long does it take for the seal to fully inflate?
The average inflation time for the dock seal cushions is approximately 40 seconds.
What is the operating temperature range?
The unit is designed to work reliably in extreme conditions, ranging from -35ºC to 70ºC.
Can the dock shelter be customized in size?
Yes, while standard sizes are 3400*3400mm, we provide full customization for specific building dimensions and applications.
What materials are used for the airbags?
The exterior is made of 0.8mm durable PVC material, and the inner components utilize synthetic fabric covered with chloroprene rubber for maximum durability.
What are the power requirements?
The system requires a 0.35 Kw power source with a 3 Phase 380V 50Hz voltage supply.
